To change your cPanel password:
Please remember to make your password Strong and Secure. One of our favourite websites to generate a password (If you can’t think of one) is https://pwpush.com/ or if you’re looking for something simpler https://www.dinopass.com/
VIA CLIENT AREA (NO OLD PASSWORD REQUIRED)
1. Log into the Client Area, hover your cursor over My Accounts and select My Services.
2. Find the account you want to change the cPanel password to. It will be named …PHPMySQL. Click anywhere in the box besides the red link.
3. Select Change Password (Middle LHS) and type (or paste if you’ve generated one) the new password into both the boxes.
4. Select Save Changes. You will now be able to sign into your cPanel with this new password.
Note: You will also be changing your password for FTP access to your account.
VIA CPANEL (OLD PASSWORD REQUIRED)
1. Scroll down to to Preferences, and select Password & Security.
OR
1. Select the profile icon (top RHS) and select Password & Security.
2. You will need to enter your old password to change it. You can generate a password here and select Change your password now!
(remember to copy-paste any passwords someplace safe before making any changes)
Log out of cPanel once you’re done and close the page.
