Avoiding Service Interruptions (Billing)

Paying invoices on time to avoid service interruptions

To keep your Apexhost services active, we recommend paying invoices at least two business days before the due date. This gives enough time for payment processing and helps prevent interruptions to websites, email, domains, SSL certificates, and other services.

Important: Domain names and SSL certificates are the services most commonly affected by missed renewals. If these expire, your website or email may stop working and restoration may not be immediate.

When to pay your invoice

Please pay any renewal invoice as soon as possible after it is issued, and no later than two business days before the due date. Some payment methods can take time to clear, and Apexhost is unable to renew or reactivate services until the related invoice shows a Paid status.

If an invoice remains unpaid after the due date, affected services may be suspended, expire, or become unavailable depending on the service type.

How to check whether an invoice has been paid

You can confirm the status of an invoice in the Apexhost client area. If you are unsure whether a payment has been received, you can contact our support team by emailing support@apexhost.com.au or by creating a ticket from the client area.

When contacting support, include the invoice number, service name, domain name, and any payment receipt or transaction reference if available.

Support hours for billing assistance

Billing support is available during Apexhost business hours - 9:00am to 5:00pm AEST/AEDT, Monday to Friday.

If you need help with billing, renewals, or payment confirmation, please contact us during these hours so we can assist as quickly as possible.

Invoice reminder emails and junk mail

Apexhost sends invoice reminders to help you stay up to date with upcoming renewals. It is your responsibility to ensure these emails are received and reviewed.

If Apexhost invoice reminders are going to your Junk or Spam folder, mark them as Not Junk or Not Spam in your email application. You may also want to add Apexhost email addresses to your safe sender list.

Missed reminder emails, including emails filtered to Junk or Spam, are not considered a valid reason for urgent after-hours or weekend renewal requests if a service has gone offline due to non-payment.

What to do if a service has gone down due to non-payment

1. Log in to the Apexhost client area.
2. Locate the outstanding invoice for the affected service.
3. Pay the invoice using an available payment method.
4. Wait for the invoice status to update to Paid.
5. If the service does not automatically renew or reactivate after payment, contact support with the invoice number and service details.

Some services may take time to renew, propagate, or become available again after payment. Domains and SSL certificates may also be subject to registry, certificate authority, or third-party processing times.

Best practice to avoid interruptions

  • Pay renewal invoices early, ideally at least two business days before the due date.

  • Keep your billing contact details up to date in the client area.

  • Regularly check your Junk or Spam folder for Apexhost emails.

  • Add Apexhost to your safe sender list.

  • Contact support during business hours if you are unsure about an invoice or renewal.
