Logging In (Client Area)

How to log in to the Apexhost Client Area

The Apexhost Client Area is the secure customer portal used to manage your hosting services, domain names, invoices, account details and support requests. If you are an Apexhost customer, signing in to the Client Area gives you access to the tools and information needed to keep your account up to date.

This guide explains how to log in to the Apexhost Client Area, what you need before you begin, what you can do after signing in, and how to resolve common Client Area login issues.

Background: what is the Apexhost Client Area?

The Apexhost Client Area is your central account dashboard. It is separate from other systems such as your hosting control panel, website administrator login, FTP account or email mailbox. This means your Client Area password is usually different from the passwords you use for your website, hosting or email services.

You should use the Client Area when you need to:

* View or manage active hosting services.

* Manage domain names and renewals.

* View invoices, payments and billing history.

* Update account and contact details.

* Open a support ticket or review existing support requests.

* Check important account or service information.

Keeping your Client Area details accurate helps Apexhost verify your account and provide support more efficiently.

Before you begin

Before logging in, make sure you have:

* Your registered Apexhost email address.

* Your Client Area password.

* Access to your email inbox, in case you need to reset your password.

* The Apexhost website address: https://www.apexhost.com.au.

If you manage services for a business, use the email address associated with the business client profile. A domain name can help Apexhost Support locate an account, but it is not normally used as the login username.

1. Open the Client Area login page.

2. Select Forgot Password?.

3. Enter the email address linked to your Apexhost client profile.

4. Check your inbox for the password reset email.

5. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.

6. Return to the Client Area login page and sign in with your new password.

If the reset email does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder and confirm you are using the correct client profile email address.

If you have forgotten your client profile details

If you cannot remember the email address or account details associated with your client profile, contact Apexhost Support and ask for help confirming your current details.

To help locate your account quickly, include the business name connected to the account or the domain name hosted with Apexhost.

Troubleshooting Apexhost Client Area login issues

If you cannot log in to the Apexhost Client Area, try the checks below.

The email address is not accepted

The email address may be typed incorrectly, may contain an extra space, or may not be the address registered to the client profile. Re-enter the email address carefully and try any other email address that may have been used when the account was created.

The password does not work

Make sure you are using your Client Area password, not your hosting control panel, website admin, FTP or email mailbox password. If you are unsure whether the password is current, use the Forgot Password? option to reset it.

The password reset email does not arrive

Check your spam or junk folder and allow a few minutes for the email to arrive. If it still does not appear, confirm that you entered the correct client profile email address.

The login page does not keep you signed in

Browser settings can interfere with login sessions. Make sure cookies are enabled, then try another browser, a private browsing window or another device.

Your account appears locked or inaccessible

If your account appears locked, the password reset email does not arrive, or you no longer have access to the email address on file, contact Apexhost Support for assistance.

Best practices for Client Area access

* Use a strong, unique password for your Apexhost Client Area.

* Do not share your personal login details with other people.

* Keep your account email address and contact details up to date.

* Use authorised contacts or additional users where multiple people need access to the same account.

* Sign out when using a shared or public computer.
